I believe the most important element of effective psychotherapy is the genuine connection between the client and therapist. My approach to therapy is interactive, supportive and empathic. I see psychotherapy as a creative process, and you and I would be co-partners in this process of exploration and discovery.
We can work together to explore your feelings of depression, anxiety, or shame which are often the result from a trauma, or a series of traumas. I have found that the most effective therapy has an individualized focus and is a collaboration between you and me. My specialty is in integrating cognitive behavioral and insight-oriented techniques to best address your area of growth.
